About the Company

Founded in 2006 by Chris and Anna Dutton in Brookvale, Sydney, The CEO Magazine has grown into a global leader in executive media, publishing its first Australian edition and launching the prestigious Executive of the Year Awards in 2011. With offices opening across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, including Stockholm, Singapore and South Africa, the company has expanded its reach with regional print editions in Europe, Asia, India and China, and digital publications, including a mobile app. Celebrating milestones such as a decade of the Executive of the Year Awards, the release of its first business merchandise and the launch of the CEO Community in 2024, The CEO Magazine continues to be at the forefront of global business media, empowering leaders worldwide.

Key Milestones in The CEO Magazine’s Evolution

2006

Chris and Anna founded the magazine in 2006 in Brookvale, Sydney, NSW, marking the beginning of an influential journey in executive media.

2007

The inaugural Australian edition set the stage for a new era in business media.

2011

Proudly introduced the Executive of the Year Awards, celebrating exceptional leadership and innovation in the industry.

2013

Our global expansion began with the opening of our Stockholm office in 2013, extending our reach across Europe.

2014

The European edition, launched in February 2014, marked a significant milestone in our international growth.

2016

The opening of offices in Singapore and Manila furthered our commitment to global business leadership.

2016 saw the debut of our Asia print edition, capturing the dynamic business landscape of the region.

Our inaugural India print edition, also launched in 2016, highlighted the growing influence of Indian business leaders.

By 2020, our team had expanded to 100 dedicated employees, reflecting our growth and influence in the executive media landscape.

David Jepson was appointed CEO, bringing new vision and leadership to guide our ongoing success.

2020 was a milestone year with the launch of our first digital magazine, embracing the future of media.

The January 2021 release of our International Chinese edition marked a significant step in reaching diverse global audiences.
